What Is The Energy Assistance Program?

The Energy Assistance Program provides financial assistance to low-income households to maintain services during the winter heating season. Income eligible families are provided a one-time benefit to their heating and electric companies to offset the high cost of utility bills.

Community & Family Services, Inc. provides the Energy Assistance Program to our six surrounding counties: 

Adams, Blackford, Huntington, Jay, Randolph and Wells Counties.

How Do I Apply?

At this time all application and approvals have been completed for this season. In the future you will be able to apply Online or complete your application and all required documents and mail them to the provided address.

What Should I Do If I Am About To Be Disconnected?

If you are in disconnect, please do not mail your application. A mail-in application may take too long to process to prevent being disconnected. Please call and make an appointment OR call 2-1-1.
